MIDDELTUIN PRODUCTS
CITRUS
Middeltuin has the ideal climate to produce a wide variety of citrus. Just some of the these products are Mandarins, Lemons and Oranges. Due to our climate in the Cederberg mountains we can harvest 8 months of the year.
PEARS
By growing pears in the Cederberg area, Middeltuin is seen to be very unique, as it is the only farm to produce pears in this region.
ONION
For the longest time now Middeltuin are able to produce a very early onion, for export and fresh produce markets. This is indeed possible due to the ideal winter temperatures.
ONION PLANTS
Due to the ideal winter temperatures in the Sandveld region, Middeltuin can produce some of the best quality onions plants in the province.
CARROTS
By combining the unique climate of the Cederberg area and sandy soil of the Sandveld, Middeltuin produces a very good quality carrot. We are also able to produce carrots at any time of the year.
